you have landed on n·h·g 's website on the normie internet. here we display the art projects of our members, and try to recruit new talent for the underground.
n·h·g is a computer arts group founded in 1994, during an age when the internet was decentralized, focused on intellectual pursuits and entertainment.
we seek to maintain and promote the ideals of this era, the collaborative spirit, self-improvement, and the idea that all should be equal regardless of their situation in the physical world; which was the hallmark of the digital world all those years ago.
we reject modern technology that serves only government surveillance & control, as well as advertising profilers.

these are ucanet, and vespernet. alternate dns servers. ucanet is a dns proxy server and vespernet is a true root dns server, their aim is to support older equipment and software, restoring their usability. they are where we host most of our projects. if you have ever seen a website url that has the symbol Ü next to it, this indicates that it can only be accessed by using ucanet dns. n·h·g also has its own private dns proxy system called edunet, whos aim is to imagine an internet that remained in control of educational institutions. Educational and personal websites exist, but tracking and mindless ones like facebook do not. In fact, its domain is actually a cute directory of book covers.
